• 1 1/3 Cups White Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (Soft)
  • 1/2 tsp Peppermint extract
  • 3 Eggs
  • 3 Cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Coarsely chopped peppermint candy
  • 1/2 Cup Mini semisweet chocolate chips
  • Coarsely chopped peppermint candy for topping
  • 1 Cup Melted chocolate for dipping


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Lightly grease a cookie sheet
  3. Mix sugar, butter, peppermint extract and eggs in large bowl
  4. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup candy and 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (dough will be stiff)
  6. Divide dough in half and shape each half into 10×2 inch rectangle on cookie sheet
  7. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
  8. Cool on cookie sheet for 15 minutes
  9. Cut crosswise into 1/2 inch slices, place slices cut side down on cookie sheet
  10. Bake 15 minutes or until light brown and crisp
  11. Immediately remove from cookie sheet
  12. Melt chocolate chips and dip half of each biscotti into chocolate and sprinkle with crushed candy. Cool completely on wire rack.
  13. Store in zip lock bags
